GotReceipts is available on both iOS and Android:

Features
The mobile apps give you everything you need to track tasks on the go:
- Quick task logging — Log a completed task in seconds
- Photo receipts — Snap a photo as proof directly from the app
- Push notifications — Get notified when housemates complete tasks or react to yours
- Leaderboard — Check the standings wherever you are
- Badges — View your achievements and track progress
Signing In
The mobile apps use the same account as the web app. Sign in with your email address and we'll send you a one-time code — no password needed.
Tip: Make sure to use the same email address you used to sign up on the web.
Push Notifications
Stay in the loop with push notifications. You can receive alerts for:
- Reactions — When someone reacts to your activity
- Badges earned — When you unlock a new badge
- Household activity — When housemates complete tasks (optional)
Managing Notifications
To adjust your notification preferences:
- Open the app
- Go to Settings → Notifications
- Toggle the notifications you want to receive
You can also manage notifications from your device's settings.
Logging Tasks
To log a completed task:
- Tap the + button on the home screen
- Select the task you completed
- Optionally add a photo as your "receipt"
- Tap Log Activity
The points are added to your total immediately and your housemates will see it in their feed.
Viewing the Leaderboard
Tap Leaderboard in the bottom navigation to see:
- Current week's standings
- Points earned by each household member
- Your position and how close you are to first place
Offline Support
The apps work best with an internet connection, but you can still browse your recent activities and the leaderboard when offline. New activities will sync when you're back online.
Troubleshooting
Not receiving notifications?
- Check your device settings allow notifications for GotReceipts
- Check in-app notification settings are enabled
- Make sure you're signed in to the correct account
App not loading?
- Check your internet connection
- Try closing and reopening the app
- If issues persist, try signing out and back in
Photos not uploading?
- Check the app has permission to access your camera and photos
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
- Try taking a new photo rather than selecting from your library
