Code of Conduct

To keep GotReceipts a helpful and safe space for every household, all users must adhere to the following rules. By using the service, you agree to these standards.

1. Allowed Content

GotReceipts is for managing household tasks. Use it to:

• Post photos of completed chores (receipts)
• Encourage household members with comments and reactions
• Coordinate shared responsibilities

2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, post, or share any content that:

• Is Illegal - Includes any material that violates UK law, including images depicting illegal acts.
• Is Harmful or Abusive - Includes bullying, harassment, or threats directed at household members or others.
• Is Explicit - Includes pornography or sexually explicit material.
• Promotes Self-Harm - Includes any content encouraging self-injury, suicide, or eating disorders.
• Violates Privacy - Do not post sensitive personal information that does not belong to you without consent.

3. Enforcement

Since GotReceipts is a private household tool, we do not actively monitor your private photos or comments. However:

• Reporting - If a member of your household posts prohibited content, you should report it to us immediately at theomjones@gmail.com.
• Consequences - We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or facilitate illegal activity.

4. Accuracy of "Receipts"

While the app is designed for "proof of work," users are expected to be honest. Uploading fraudulent photos or "cheating" the point system is a matter for your household to manage, but may result in a loss of access if used to harass others.
